Job Description

Role Definition:

Monitoring of all daily and monthly activities (Defined in Import & Export Dept.).
Manage, control, check or assist with issuing of all import/export documents
Manage import and export orders according to set deadlines
Provide professional, efficient advice and communications to the organization with regard to tariffs, intercoms, duties, restrictions and permits
Checking of Export & Imports Freight Forwarder & Clearing agent bills.
Ensure that all transactions will be done in a cost-effective way

Responsible for Updating of Export Order received from various countries in work sheet (Excel).
Updating the same into share point for other department reference (PPC, LOG & PUR)
Planning and dispatching of export orders to Germany, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal etc. as per schedule..
Follow up with concerned departments like PPC & Logistics for readiness of materials to Export for on time
delivery as per there schedule.
Responsible for updating and preparing of pre-export documents in SAP.
Preparing of Certification of Origin(COO) for Export Shipments Online Entry & Manual printout in prescribed format given by Export Inspection Agency.
Checking of Export documents before submitting to concerned departments like Forwarding Agent, Customs etc..
Preparation of Bank Documents after receiving post export documents (Airway Bill or Bill of Lading,
Shipping Bill, SDF Form, COO etc..)
Updating the export orders and keeping records.
Monitoring on Export Schedules
Other works assigned by EXIM Manager from time to time.

Preparation of import order in SAP and follow up with the supplier
Interacting with accounts department for timely payment of Custom duties.
Duty posting for Manufacturing & Trading items in SAP after paying the duty.
List of items imported to be provided for Logisitics departmentCKD
Preparation fo Goods Receipt after confirmation from Logistic department.
Process of imports documents (Invoices, Airway Bill/Bill of Lading, Bill of Entry for making payment to
supplier through bank
Other works assigned by EXIM department from time to time.

Preparing of different reports pertaining to Import & Export on monthly/Yearly basis - Download from SAP.
Preparation of Insurance Statement for Import materials
Preparation of Monthly & Yearly Statement of Bank Realization Certificate
Preparation of Monthly & Yearly Statement for Engineer Export Promotion Council EEPC
Preparation of Import statement for making supplier payment


a. Education/Qualifications:

Any degree
Grade 12 + Minimum 2 -5yrs of experience in Import & Export Documentation

b. Work Experience:

1. Minimum 2-5yrs of experience in Import & Export documentation
2. Ability to meet demanding deadlines
3. Problem solving, decision making and communication skills.
4. Technical knowledge of Products
5. Manage, control, check or assist with issuing of all import/export documents
6. Thorough knowledge of SAP is Must.

Its a MNC Company 5days a week transport and canteen facilities are available.
Its for 1yr contract base.
